Social media
I use profiles on social media platforms to promote my work and announce new publications. By choosing to follow me on social media, you are sharing with me the data that you make publicly available on your profile. You may stop following me on social media at any time. The rules governing data processing are set out in the privacy policy of the relevant platform.
In particular, as the administrator of a Facebook page, I may use the Facebook Page Insights service, which provides aggregated data on page users and their interactions with content published on the page. In accordance with Article 26 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), I thus become, together with Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, a joint controller of the personal data of users of my Facebook page. I use the data obtained via Facebook Page Insights to pursue my legitimate interests (legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR), i.e. to understand my audience and improve my services. The data will be processed for as long as my Facebook page remains active.

- to establish, exercise and defend legal claims.

The translator entrusts the personal data collected via the website to the following data processors:

- its accounting service provider, namely:
- Web INnovative Software, provider of the online accounting application wFirma, a limited liability company entered in the National Court Register (KRS) under number 0000342082, with its registered office at ul. Bolesława Krzywoustego 105/21, 51-166 Wrocław, Poland, with tax identification number (NIP) 8982167294 and statistical number (REGON) 021120771;
- the operator of the National e-Invoice System (KSeF), namely:
- the Head of the National Tax Administration, reporting to the Minister of Finance.
Retention period for personal data
Data provided via the contact form is retained for the time necessary to process your enquiry.
Data provided via the newsletter subscription form is retained until the translator has completed the service or you unsubscribe.
Transaction data not used for accounting purposes is stored until the expiry of the limitation period for claims relating to business activities (3 years).

Invoices sent to KSeF are stored for a period of 10 years from the end of the year in which they were issued.
Your rights regarding the protection of personal data
You may request me, as the data controller, to:

- correct incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete data (you have the right to rectification);
- delete data that is no longer necessary or is being processed unlawfully (you have the right to be forgotten);
- limit the processing of your data in specific cases (you have the right to restrict processing);
- receive your personal data in a machine-readable format and transmit it to another controller (you have the right to data portability);
- stop the processing of your data for marketing purposes or for reasons related to a specific situation (you have the right to object);
- not to be subject to decisions based on automated processing.
If your rights are infringed, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
